Minecraft Map Display
Most blocks are on the map in color, looks like in the real world. Exceptions are, for example, sandstone and gold blocks that appear on the map not in yellow or gold, but in gray.
Each pixel on the map corresponds to 1/4 chunk, so that a whole chunk corresponds to 2×2 pixels. The information presented on the map correspond to 128×128 pixels or 1024×1024 So 64×64 chunks whole blocks. So we can say that a map covering about one square kilometer.
Markers on maps can be drawn by means of large areas of 6×6 blocks. Marks are best seen from lava or snow. The latter, of course, not in tundra or taiga biomes.
